FAQ

What does Venus conjunct Mars in synastry mean?

It's the most direct attraction aspect in synastry: one person's sense of what's desirable sits exactly on the other's drive. It reliably produces chemistry. Whether it produces a good relationship depends on everything else in the comparison.

We have no Venus–Mars aspects. Is that bad?

No. It means the attraction is running through other channels — Sun–Moon contacts, Ascendant contacts, or simply compatible Venus and Mars signs. Venus–Mars is the loudest signature, not the only one.

Does a Venus square Mars count as chemistry?

Yes, and often more intensely than a trine. Squares create friction that reads as tension rather than ease — very magnetic, sometimes exhausting. This tool labels each aspect's tone so you can see which kind you're working with.

Do I need exact birth times for this?

Venus and Mars move slowly enough that a missing birth time rarely changes their sign, so this tool stays useful without one. Exact times still improve precision on the orbs, and are required for house-based work.
